Festive cooking

This morning our project manager bought food worth CHF 60.- and brought it to the women's prison. We had obtained permission for imprisoned women from abroad to cook a dish of their own choosing. A woman from Ivory Coast, West Africa, will prepare a little-known dish of fried plantains. Actually a classic street food in the cities of West Africa. Today, however, Allocco will be the main course, everything else is a side dish (see photo).
